Lake Bluff is a community of 5,722 located on Chicago's North Shore. Sometimes described by residents as 'Mayberry' and 'The Hidden Jewel on the North Shore,' Lake Bluff is known for its active Farmer's Market, busy downtown, lovely beach on Lake Michigan, Bluffinia concerts, Criterium Bike Race, biennial Ghost Walk, beautiful parks, History Museum, excellent schools, annual Auto Show, and much more that really doesn't fit in here. Following an Emergency Declaration by the Village Board of Trustees on March 18, 2020, the residents of Lake Bluff are standing together (though separated by social distancing) to show COVID-19 what it means to be 'Lake Bluff Strong.'
The mission of Lake Bluff Strong is to provide a central website for Bluffers to visit regarding news related to COVID-19 in the community, ongoing events from local organizations, and support to carry on and stay Lake Bluff Strong!
Many hands have been involved in creating Lake Bluff Strong. Website design is thanks to Jillian Chapman and Eric Bailey, website administration is handled by Adrienne Fawcett and Social Media is directed by Deborah Fischer. Many thanks to Anne Sorensen and Kathy O'Hara for initial and ongoing inspiration, support, and leadership.
