To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the CDC has asked that Americans avoid participating in traditional trick-or-treating where treats are handed to children who go door to door. The CDC also considers indoor costume parties and haunted houses to be high risk. The Village has cancelled its annual hot dog roast at the Lake Bluff Public Safety Building consistent with these guidelines. If you choose to participate in higher-risk Halloween activities, we urge you to follow these guidelines and take certain steps to help keep our community safe.
