Summer Starts Friday at the Lake Bluff Farmers Market
The Lake Bluff Farmers Market starts at 7 a.m. and runs till noon on Friday, June 5!
There are new policies to promote social distancing and safety due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
You'll find a different layout to this year's Farmers Market--- the Village is giving it more space, including the full closure of one block of Scranton Avenue in Lake Bluff’s central business district. The Market has also adopted new policies to reduce crowding and promote hygiene. Vendors are spaced out, hand sanitizer will be available, and volunteers will be stationed at three entrance points to make sure everything is running smoothly.
There are new customer rules as well. Please follow these rules! A lot of events and programs have been cancelled -- let's work together to make sure the Lake Bluff Farmers' Market has a successful and long summer run:
--If you are feeling sick, stay home. --Wear a mask or face covering. --Keep six feet away from members of other households. --Limit your interactions with others. --No animals. (Service animals okay.) --No bicycles, scooters, or similar. --No eating or drinking. Food must be eaten off-site. --No reusable bags. --Leave others at home if you are able. --Shop promptly and consider pre-orders. --Bring credit or debit cards to pay.
