Tai Chi on the Lawn
Harvard Medical School has described Tai Chi as “medication in motion.” It is a martial art that emphasizes the weight transference to improve balance and body awareness. There is growing evidence that this low impact, slow motion exercise which originated in China as a martial art, has value in treating or preventing many health problems. And you can get started even if you aren’t in top shape or the best of health. The ultimate purpose of Tai Chi is to nurture the Qi (Life Force) within us to flow smoothly and powerfully throughout the body to help concentration, energy, stress relief and harmony. Please plan on wearing a mask if necessary!
